A subscription to Second Brain: the web app, the scheduled-run service, and the centrally maintained instruction set the runs follow. Billed monthly in advance until you cancel.
Your notes, projects, goals and daily log live in your own Airtable base or your own Postgres database. We hold your account, your settings and your billing record — never the contents of your second brain. If you stop paying, or if this service disappears entirely, your data is untouched and still in a store you control.
Where a plan offers one, the trial length is shown before you subscribe and you are not charged until it ends. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.
Your account becomes read-only — you can still sign in, read everything and export it; only writing pauses. We hold that state for 14 days while your bank is retried. Nothing is deleted at any point.
Cancel whenever you like, from the billing page. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for; we don't pro-rate refunds for part-months.
Credits are prepaid, non-transferable, and can only be spent on AI processing in this service. They are not a stored-value instrument and cannot be redeemed for cash. Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase; credits already spent are not. Credits do not expire while your account is active.
If something is wrong, write to us and we will sort it out. We would rather refund you than have you pay for something that didn't work.
We may suspend an account for non-payment, or for use that puts the service or other people at risk. In either case you keep access to your own data, because it was never in our custody.
If these terms change materially, we will say so before the change affects you.
