Capture, clarify, organise and reflect are upkeep. They are what the method asks for continuously and what people stop doing after a few weeks. Those four run six times a day whether or not anyone is thinking about them.

How it is put together

The database is yours

Postgres, on your own account — Supabase, or any Postgres you already run. The GTD lists are ordinary tables in it. You can query it, back it up or delete it without this site existing.

Sources are added one at a time

Nothing is read until you connect it. Pause a source and it stops being read on the next run. The list of what is connected is a page you can look at.

The instructions are editable

How things are judged, what to leave alone, what to chase — written in your words, stored in your database, and changed whenever you like. What the system works out about you is written down there too.

Setting it up

Connect a database — about two minutes, and one is made for you if you do not have a Supabase account. Add sources when you feel like it. Nothing else is required.
