Where does my data actually live?

In a Postgres database on your own Supabase account, or on a Postgres server you run yourself. You create it, you own it, and you can open it in a browser without this site existing. We read and write it; we never hold it.

Do I need a Supabase account already?

No. If you have not got one, the setup creates the project for you — it takes about a minute, and the project belongs to you from the moment it exists.

Can I point it at my own Postgres server?

Yes, on any plan that includes Your own Postgres server. Your own machine, your own hosting, your own backups.

What happens if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted, ever. If a payment fails your second brain goes read-only for 14 days while you sort the card out — you can still read everything, sign in, and export. After that the app stops working, and your database carries on being yours.

How do I cancel?

One click, on Stripe's own billing page, which you can reach any time from your account. No email, no retention call. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
